Bullet Journal: create your calendar with Signo Colors

Here we have a tutorial to help you organise your calendar thanks to the Bullet Journal technique, “my bujo” for enthusiasts. The new Signo Colors rollerball gel pens in bright colours are perfect for brightening your notebook and your planners.

Tutorial level: Beginner / Advanced / Expert

For this tutorial, you will need:

1^st step: The materials

To make this bullet journal, we recommend a set square to help you create straight lines.

The Signo Colors are available in 21 different colours which gives you a wide range to play with.

2nd step: Draw a table for your calendar

With the help of a set square and a black Signo Colors pen, draw a table with 30 squares, large enough to then add the information for each day of the month.

3^rd step: Number the squares of the calendar

Add the number of the day in the corner of each square.

4^th step: Add drawings, colours and information to your monthly calendar

Now, decorate your calendar with the patterns of your choice. For the springtime month of April, we’ve chosen a floral pattern which you can download as a PDF here.

With your Signo Colors rollerball pens, colour your patterns, then start to fill in your meetings, sayings, key dates and thoughts for the month in colour.

To cross out, highlight, mark out long periods in your calendar (like your days off for example), you can use the Uni Propus Window double-tip highlighter, which are both precise and smooth to use.

5^th step: Liven it up with Washi Tape

A classic for Bullet Journals, but one we won’t get tired of: these little rolls of patterned sticky tape are perfect for bringing colour and personality to your pages!
