Pegboard DIY: Customise this new essential with Uni Paint permanent marker pens

Have you heard of the pegboard? The latest trend, and extremely practical, it has left its traditional workshop and garage environment and is now in people’s homes. Just as useful as aesthetic, we will today help you to customise your own with Uni Paint permanent markers! Let’s get started!

For this tutorial, you will need:

• A pegboard

• A porte-mines premium
  

• A compass

• A ruler

• Uni Paint permanent markers

• A rubber

1^st step: The materials

The superstar of our tutorial... The oil-based Uni Paint permanent marker. Available in 15 colours, it is permanent on all surfaces, even the trickiest ones. It is the ideal partner for your customised designs!

Make sure you have a pegboard. They are available in a variety of materials, we have chosen wood. Using our luxury mechanical pencil, a compass, a ruler and a rubber, you’ll then have all the tools you need!

2^nd step: Draw circles to guide you

Using a compass and your mechanical pencil, begin to draw circles of different sizes. Overlapping your circles will lead to a better result!

Ideal for all types of drawing, even the most technical, our luxury mechanical pencil is an exceptional tool!

3^rd step: Draw your hexagons

Next, using your Uni Paint marker in the colour of your choice (here we have used silver, gold and blue), and your ruler, draw hexagons over the circles you previously drew.

Our Uni Paint markers are simply ideal for decoration and customisation and defy all competition thanks to the opaque colours and extra-quick dry!

4^th step: Alternate the colours and patterns

For this step, alternate the colours and patterns to fill in your hexagons. Lines, colouring in? The choices are endless, set your inner artist free!

5^th step: Add the finishing touches!

For a clean result to complete your pegboard, rub out any visible pencil outlines. Once the marker lines have dried, there is no risk of smudging!

6^th step: The final result!

Your pegboard is now ready! Simply attach a few pegs and two or three shelves to turn it into the ideal desk tidy!
