Personalise a beach bag with creative Signo pens

Are you heading to the beach? What if you were to personalise a little bag to keep you keys, your sunglasses, your phone, etc. protected from the sand? The Signo rollerball pens would be perfect for this personalisation on fabric! You have the choice between pastel, metallic and even sparkly colours!
Tutorial level: Beginner / Advanced / Expert
For this tutorial, first you'll need:
- A fabric beach bag in a light / solid colour
- Signo creative rollerball pens, Signo pastel with a 0.7mm tip (orange, blue, yellow, green), Signo metallic with a 0.8mm tip (blue, green, gold) and Signo Glitter with a 1mm tip (green, gold)
- Our page of summer pattern ideas (downloadable pdf)
1st step: The materials
Is your bag ready to be decorated with beautiful colours? If you don't have one at home, you can easily find one in crafts shops or online.
From pastel to sparkly, the entire Signo creative rollerball range is perfect for using on fabrics. Your creation will also be resistant to time, water and solvents!
Take your template: an underwater world with seaweed, coral and small fish, perfect for the season!
2nd step: Your pattern
Our tip for recreating the template? Place the sheet inside the bag and follow the lines coming through. For the colours, follow your creative instincts, by alternating the effects and the tips.
Then, time to fill it in, by colouring or adding texture, polka-dots or crosses, for example. Don't forget the little details: bubbles, shells, starfish...
To finish, if you like calligraphy, add your summer mantra at the bottom of the creation. We’ve opted for “Good Vibes” in gold, do you like it?
3rd step: Your bag is ready
Our advice for an optimal colour hold: iron your creation inside out with no steam.
You can now head for the beach with the most beautiful bag!
