Personalise flip-flops for the beach with oil-based uni PAINT markers

Tutorial level: Beginner / Advanced / Expert

For this tutorial, first you'll need:

• Flip-flops in your size
• Uni Paint permanent markers, 2.2-2.8 tip (Ref: PX20) in Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Light Green, Dark Green, Light Blue, Dark Blue

1^st step: The materials

Bye-bye trainers, hello flip-flops! Grab a pair of flip-flops you’d like to revamp and take a couple of Uni Paint markers in bright and summery colours. In addition to promising total coverage, the Uni Paint markers guarantee quick drying and resist water and intense heat!

For patterns, you can use a template and practise on paper at first.

2^nd step: Your pattern

In summer, we want to see lots of colour and patterns which conjure up positivity and good vibes! What could be better than flowers and rainbows?

Create flowers by alternating lines with different Uni Paint colours. You can vary their sizes and sometimes separate them from other coloured lines. Keep on elaborating your pattern until you cover the entirety of your flip-flop. And same again for the second one!

With this type of colourful pattern, the two flip-flops don't need to be identical. Let your imagination and your current desires guide you!

3^rd step: Admire the result

And voilà! Your pair will be the belle of the ball at the beach and can sunbathe without losing the splendour of its bright colours. Do you like the result?
